Sightseeing
We'd recommend that you take the cable car from Tromsdalen to Storsteinen. It's called "Fjellheisen" in Norwegian, directly translated to Mountain Cable Car. It gives you an stunning overview of Tromsø Island and Kvaløya. It takes only 4 minutes by cable car. If you want to walk to the top, that's also an alternative. It's about a 400m vertical meters hike to the top.

Ersfjordbotn is a beautiful fjord even we locals enjoy on out spare time to relax and take in the stunning nature. You should also pay "Bryggejentene" a visit if you are there.

Another location we can recommend is "Sommarøya" (The summer island), which is a 50 minute drive from the house. Sommarøya is an old fishing village and known for its beautiful scenery. Hopefully you might catch some Northern Lights if the sky is clear.
