FOODIE LIST

These restaurants are the ones that I will frequent around the property. Most of the location is accessible by foot and is affordable as compared to other places. Also, they are all authentic Malaysian's local delicacies that you can't find anywhere else. MORE IMPORTANTLY, ITS DELICIOUS!!
As a frequent traveler and an avid food hunter myself, I have to say this restaurant offers some of the better quality Malaysia local cuisine one can find around the area. I highly recommend people to try their Nasi kandar with toppings such as 'Rendang Kambing' as in 'spicy herb lamb meat' plus their round shape fried stuff which to this day I still can't remember its name but you will know once you went there. In addition, a good old nasi kander can't be completed with a cup of perfectly 'pulled' (yes pulled) 'TEH TARIK'. Its a type of condensed milk tea that is liked by local and tourists alike. If you are not a friend of rice. I would recommend you to order their other delicacies such as Roti Canai or Roti Telur (2 or Malaysian's staple meal choices). If rice and fried bread is not your taste. Then I would recommend you order their "Maggi Goreng Pedas". Well, some may ask me what is so special about a fried instant noodles...... BUT... trust me, there is something mysterious about this dish, its name is plain, looks mehh... but once you took the first bite, you just can't stop !!! This is also probably why my girlfriend keeps telling me Im gaining a lot of weight from all those maggi gorengs im eating like every supper ever. Hah, I guess thats it for this restaurant. I would give a 4* recommendation for this restaurant because of its food, price, places as well as the friendly staff there. :P

This unique Chinese restaurant is situated at the end of Jalan Alor. (around 5 minutes walk from our unit) Jalan Alor is Kuala Lumpur's most famous food hub for tourist. The food here is I would say pretty good, despite the higher price as compared to other places. (due to the location I guess). Needless to say that the place is also super packed during weekends and sometimes you will need to wait at least 30 minutes for a seat. :O I would recommend you to try their Soy-sauce fried noodles. The unique mixture of soy-sauce and homemade broth blend combined to be fried with the noodles comes out to be one of the unique experience you can't find in any other Asian restaurant in other Asian countries even. (trust me I went to China, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam just to order this dish and it just taste super different from here, I guess is because of the soy-sauce they used) Next, I would highly recommend people to order their bbq chicken wings. Went you first reach the place you can definitely saw that there is 2 guys out of the back of the kitchen bbq-ing chicken wings, and the smell of the chicken wings is enough to drive anyone who is fulled to hungry. XD Also, try their seafood dishes, while I can definitely recommend those because of the taste. However, I'm not so much as encourage those with a limited budget to try as seafood price is seasonal and can fluctuate quite high during seasons where supply is limited. Thus, best ask the price before ordering.

Going back to the nature

Here is a small list that I would recommend guest to go if they wanted to go to places that are a bit less contaminated by gas or to get away from the hustling bustling of city life :) keep in mind some places are quite far, approx 1 hour drive from where the unit is.
