Formerly Pop's Restaurant, this new establishment is my favorite dining spot. The food is fantastic! Home cooking from scratch is the theme. I'm not a burger lover, but this one here is five stars. Put it on your list to visit. The parking is tight, but worth the effort.

The Ahwahnee Hills Regional Park is a 400-acre nature park in the community of Ahwahnee on Highway 49 in Madera County. It boasts of 400 acres of oak woodland, a 15-acre lake, 7 miles of walking/hiking trails, 6 miles of equestrian trail, picnic areas, and restrooms.
