Great place if you want to go somewhere locally and have a drink, enjoy west indian cuisine and listen to music. They have a roof top where they host parties however parking can sometimes be an issue near there.

This is my favorite Jamacian Restaraunt. Food is yummy and cheap! When ordering make sure you get a mini for $6. It is a great size and filling.

A smaller lounge in case you don't like big crowds. They play mostly reggae and soca music. Good prices drinks and appetizers as well. Take an Uber because it is very hard to find parking.

Steinway Street is a strip in Astoria Queens, near LGA airport. The area is predominately Middle Eastern with a lot Shisha Lounges, Bars, Strip Clubs, Middle Eastern Cusine, and Kauffman movie Theaters. Kauffman Studios is nearby, which is where a lot of movies and shows have been filmed such as Spiderman and Orange is to New Black. It is not locally; however, it would take 20 minutes to drive there.

It has a Miami feel as the beaches are nearby. It is about a 30-40 minutes drive or a train ride on the LIRR. Best times to go is around 3 PM on the Weekends.
