drive up to beautiful sterling gorge just a couple miles outside of Stowe. MANY hiking options from the parking areas but the falls are a nice, short option. Well maintained but a few steep sections.

2.5m trail at the top of the mountain road. Quite popular on busy days. Drive up the notch, enjoy the drive and do this moderate hike. For those desiring more miles it connects to the long trail and you can go as long as you like!

There are MANY options to hike to the top. Long trail, haselton, hellbrook (difficult) all start from Stowe side. If you drive over to the underhill side of the mtn, there are numerous other options as well. If you arrive to the top before 4pm you can ride the gondola down for free if you started near the stowe mountain lodge

There are MANY options to hike to the top. Long trail, haselton, hellbrook (difficult) all start from Stowe side. If you drive over to the underhill side of the mtn, there are numerous other options as well. If you arrive to the top before 4pm you can ride the gondola down for free if you started near the stowe mountain lodge
Near lake willoughby close to where Eric grew up, beautiful quiet rural area. A 4m hike with amazing views over the lake. Numerous other hikes in the area as well. Several scenic drive options to get there. Make sure to stop for a swim in crystal clear lake willoughby after, Vt's deepest lake
