During the warmer months, the rooftop dining is a great place to order a few drinks and try a few appetizers. Fried Pickles, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Pimento Cheese Fondue were recent hits with guest from out of town.

No visit to Harrisonburg is complete without a stop at Kline's. I grew up enjoying Klines and have continued to over my 50 years. The Custard Style Ice Cream is a local favorite and an institution since 1943.

If you are hungry for pizza but not the restaurant chain verity, try Bella Luna. Great seating area or eat at the bar (they also have great drink options served by great bartenders). I haven't had a bad pizza there but a couple of favorites are: The Don, Bella Bianca, and the Ring of Fire.
