Not only is it a beautiful beach but there are great spots for eating, drinking or just people watching.
We love that you can either walk or drive to the Gondola and that it is so close to our home. Whilst the walk is only just over 2kms it is uphill all the way so a good level of fitness is an advantage.
The views are stunning on a nice days so whether you drive, walk or do something different up or down ... just enjoy the experience (cafe and restrooms at the top if needed).

Christchurch Gondola

Food scene
We have two children and whether we go to this spot with them or with friends it really is just a great ‘local’.
The pizzas are so good and the bar staff certainly know their wines, craft beers or a cheeky cocktail 😊.
We really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere here and the fact that it really is local to our home (less than 2kms away).
