For fine dining this place is excellent. It's fancy and upscale without being stuffy. They have a large patio for lots of outside dining with great views of the San Jacinto mountains. They have a great bar and fresh, organic, delicious and unusual menu items. This is a fun place. You can show up in a fancy dress or jeans and flip flops. California fancy.

this place is so fun! They have great food! I recommend the rice four fried calamari, so delish! And the ambience is California cool. Stunning interior design, unusual and fun drink menu and yummy food. This is a fancy place but as with most places in California wear whatever you feel great in!

Stunning interior design, unusual and fun drink menu and yummy food. This is a fancy place but as with most places in California wear whatever you feel great in!

This museum is physically stunning set against the San Jacinto mountain range. It covers a wide range of modern art from early 20th century to current artists. It shows a wide variety of media: paintings, sculpture, sound design, pottery, light enhancement. It's a fantastic, well-rounded and cutting edge museum.

What a beautiful, breathtaking place to be. Truly God's country. Take a day to visit the super blooms (springtime) or camp out for a few evenings. This place is a must-see. You will be restored in every way.

El Paseo shopping district in Palm Desert is a beautiful neighborhood full of great shops both locally-owned and chains. Plus they really do up the decor for Christmas and the holidays. Great shopping, dining and window gazing.

Need a little hippie getaway? Yucca Valley is a quick 45-50 minute drive up highway 62 off the 10 frwy. The drive itself is gorgeous and relaxing. Yucca Valley has some great diners, saloons and a fantastic Saturday Farmer's market. There is a ton to explore here so make a day of it!

They have delicious food. They also have a good selection of vitamins, supplements, etc. and a small grocery section for picking up essentials.

I would never put anything as important as coffee in the food scene category. This is an essential! And Koffi has some of the best coffee in the desert. They also have several locations in Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Wherever you find yourself you'll also find a Koffi. They have excellent bold coffee but I'm partial to their espresso. it's high-quality and delish.
