Can take the #147 bus back to border of Chicago/Evanston for a scenic lakefront and neighborhood view. Get off and take red line to purple line Davis street, walk, #93 or Uber/Lyft back to house.

Chicago Transit Authority(CTA)-Purple line goes into Chicago
Evanston borders Chicago. most tourists can get to Chicago via CTA. Download transit apps "TRANSIT", for travel directions; "VENTRA" to load transit fares. One ventra pass will be provided when you arrive that you have to re-load with more monies. you will use PURPLE, RED lines. Take #93 bus from my house to purple line, or walk Church street east to Davis station-purple line.( 10 min. walk) Metra train 1 block west of davis station-purple line.
