I love going for long runs (or walks) here, or bringing my kids to the beach to play on warm days. You can see the Golden Gate bridge, Alcatraz, Presidio, and Marin Headlands from almost any angle.

Sometimes, you just gotta buy Chex and Miracle Whip and Coca-Cola, and Whole Foods just won't do! This is one of the nicest Safeway Markets I've ever been to. It has a great selection of organic produce and humanely raised meats. It also has a deli counter, decent cheese selection, and a huge wine selection.

There are so many good Italian restaurants in the neighborhood but this sleeper restaurant is one of my favorites because of the quality of the pasta, the attentiveness of the owner, and romantic/cozy atmosphere.
