Great hole in the wall burger joint in Andrews! Best hand patted beef burgers, chicken strips, and homemade potato fries (3 types, I prefer house) Like Five Guys, but better! Don't let the trailer fool ya! This place is great! (They also have taco salads if that's your speed).

For a nice evening dinner I sneak upstairs to Shoetini's. It is private, has a full bar, and seems more cozy. Crab legs are usually on Friday nights... call first though.

It is out of the way, but it is historic and literally on the tail of the "Dragon" . The pizza is what it is known for as it is hand tossed and placed in a brick oven- go in the mid afternoon for a late lunch to beat the crowd and enjoy the views. I strongly recommend eating at the bar - best view of the river. If you are a salad person, the wedge is huge!

One of my favs...great food presentation and view of Lake Nantahala. Order the ribs and banana pudding. Outside seating viewing with a firepit to sit by to relax and listen to music. Alcohol is not served here, but it is worth visiting for sure.

This is 45 minutes away in Hiwassee GA. The margaritas are great and you can sit outside overlook the lake. Next door is a bar you can go to if you are looking for night life on Lake Chatuge.
