Local scene, transportatation, important shops, etc.
- Chiswick High Street is a great place for shopping, cafes, restuarants, parks and enjoying the parks. Has all the essential shops, supermarkets (Waitrose, Sainsburys and M&S), post office, Boots, pharmacies, etc.
Transportation: There are three tube lines walking distance from the property:
- Closest is South Acton which is the Overground Line (about a 1-2 minute walk). Richmond is a great place to visit and easy to get to via the Overground Line, just a few stops from South Acton.
- Chiswick High Street Station has the District Line services and will take you into central London if heading towards Bank, Westminister, Victoria, Tower Hill, Embankment, etc.
- Acton Town Station has Piccidilly Line services which is a 10 minute walk from the flat. It will also take you to central London (Piccidilly Circus, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Kings Cross, etc.)
You can also take the 94 bus by The Duke of Sussex pub to get to Oxford Circus , Nottinghill, Holland Park, Westfield Shopping Mall, etc.
I recommend downloading the app called CityMapper, will help you easily navigate around London whether it be via tube or bus or walking.

If you are looking for a bit of wine and charcuterie, this is one of my favourite spots. It is also great for coffee and brunch. It is a small place, so not ideal for larger groups than four people.

Good pub for a few drinks, especially on a week night as can be a bit busy. I don't recomend the food, but the drinks and atmosphere are worth it.
