Sightseeing/Activities
Lehi is home and gateway to many beautiful places. You won't have to travel far to enjoy most of these experiences.
This is one of the great gems of the Lehi area. The entrance fee is $6 per vehicle for a 3-day pass (annual national park pass holders get in free with card). The canyon is relatively quiet in the winter and on spring/summer fall weekdays. Weekends are jam packed, especially during fall colors.
Activities in the canyon:
- Hiking/snowshoeing
- Mountain biking (my favorite ride originates from Timpooneke Trailhead)
- Road biking (Alpine Loop in summer - a ~50 mile bike ride)
- Scenic drive (Alpine Loop [full loop closed during winter, gates open depending on snow levels, usually open by mid-May]: https://utah.com/scenic-drive/alpine-loop
- Fire pits (various benches near riverbed) - be sure to pack own wood (can buy from local grocery store)
- Tibble Fork Reservoir (great for picnic, non-motorized vessels (SUPs and kayaks most popular)

Fantastic trail, paved, 18 miles point to point. Many access points, including from our home's neighborhood. Ideal for walks, running, bike rides, long boards; great for exercise or leisure. One of our favorite activities is a bike ride to one of the various parks along the route.
