4 days plan for our guests Day 1 1. The Kremlin and Armory (2.5 hours). Open every day except Thursday. You will need a separate ticket for the Armoury Chamber, buy it in the same ticket office. Keep in mind the Armory entering time: 10 am, 12 pm, 2.30, 4.30 pm and schedule your visit accordingly. Usually an hour is enough to walk around the Kremlin territory and visit its churches (keep the ticket for it). About 1.5 hours should be allocated to the Armoury. There is a free auidoguide in the museum, which can be useful if you are not accompanied by a tour guide. 2. Manezh Square, Red Square, GUM, St Basil's. (30-60 min) Best time to come here after dark to enjoy New Year decoration and stunning views. On the central square of GUM, around the New Year tree, there are Christams tree decorations to buy. 3. Nikolskaya street and Lubyanka square (30 min). Nikolskaya is the street with thousands of lamps above your head, on the side of the GUM. There is no better place for the Christmas spirit photos! The street gets the visitor to Lubyanka - another beautifully lit-up place. 4. Theatre square It is a 15 min walk from Lubyanka to the Bolshoi Theatre. If your visitors are not going to watch the show in the Bolshoi they should at least see its classical facade and an elegantly decorated square in front of it.

Day 2 If the weather is snowy enough, get out of the city center to enjoy its exotic winter beauty. Kolomenskoye and Tsaritsyno estates are easily accessible by metro and have both natural and architectural things to see. There is also an indoors option for this day - the Tretyakov Gallery. A good guide can bring a lot more to the visit, but if your friends are experienced museum goers they can be good on their own. Note that the Gallery is closed on Monday.

Day 3 1. Pushkin Museum (1 hour) has a fantastic collection of French art of the late 19th century. It is a worthy place for Impressionists lovers. It is in a green building to the left of the main one. Closed on Monday. 2. Christ the Savior Cathedral (20 min) is across the road from the museum. Its history is a great illustration of Christianity adventures in Russia. Try to find a modern icon where crimes of bolsheviks against the Church are shown. 3. Muzeon Park (1 hour) is the place where old Soviet statues were moved to after 1991. It is easy to walk there from the Cathedral across the bridge. On the way you can be entertained by a view of the gigantic Peter the Great statue over the river. 4. New Tretyakov Gallery (1-1.5 hours) is in a big grey building in Muzeon Park. Go there for Russian avantgarde and socialistic realism.
