This is 1.5 hours south of the tree house and highly recommended. Note: there are no eateries nearby so plan ahead. The nearest is SeaQuake Brewery in Crescent City. Amazing menu and local beer offered.

Drive up the south side of the Rogue River, also called Jerry's Flat. When approaching Lobster Creek, turn right on to Forest Service Road 090 and drive approximately 3 miles. This is an easy flat hike that offers a beautiful experience of the local flora. After walking, you may want to visit Cougar Lane Lodge in Agness. Just continue up the South Bank. Fantastic view of the river and great food! This is seasonal so call ahead.

A fun, adventurous way to experience the river. Wear layers & expect to get wet in the summer months.
