Offers a 3-mile gentle hike around the top, and spectacular views of the Bay Area. Also be sure to visit

Once you break out of the trees over Stinson Beach there is a small parking area, but you can also stop anywhere along the road. Take time to sit quietly and just be in the immense beauty of the hills and vast ocean before you. This location has been known to change lives, if you let it. There is a spirit in the mountain, and it will guide you if you listen quietly for long enough.

You could easily spend two full days here and not see and do everything this science museum has to offer. There is also a completely-in-the-dark walk/crawl/climb through experience that is amazing, and very worth doing, called the Tactile Dome. That experience usually requires reservations in advance. [Fisherman's Wharf] I don't really recommend Pier 39--it's a tourist trap--but you can walk down the left side of the pier to avoid all that . . . and at the end of the pier are (most times of the year) wild sea lions! This walk also affords great views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

I personally recommend the Shrimp & String Beans and also the dumplings (when they have them). But anything on the menu is good, authentic recipes from Hunan province. Check hours before you go. There are also other Henry's Hunan's around the city, use your favorite search engine to find them.
