Food scene
Only a 15 minute walk away, Murphy Street is home to many cafes and restaurants including my personal favourites: Ramen Seas and, if you're looking for delicious Vietnamese inspired drinks, Bambu. There's plenty of parking around the area along with other shops including Target, Starbucks, and a soon-to-be-built movie theater.

A personal favourite of mine, Teaspoon is 10 minutes drive away. Boba/Milk Tea places have become commonplace in the Bay Area. I'd highly recommend trying their Creamy Mango drink if you ever get the chance!

A 10 minute walk away, the Caltrain system provides direct trains throughout the peninsula, including (but certainly not limited to) San Francisco.
