There is a public part of the Zoo: the Artisplein with big trees with lights and free places to sit and enjoy your own brought wines and foods. There is a small fountain where small children are allowed to play in, very nice during summer.

This is very nice, even for a Dutch person. First you learn more about the history of Holland and then you take a virtual flight over the most beautiful places Holland has to offer. It's like you are on top of a drone.

Here you can get information on public transport in Amsterdam. You can take tram 14 and every metro to our apartment. With the tram you get out at Artis (the zoo) and walk back a little to the Plantage Parklaan where you can find us at nr. 18. With the metro/subway take any metro and get out at Waterlooplein, exit Hortusplantsoen. Its only a 3 minutes walk to Plantage Parklaan 18.
