Parson's has a great selection of different beer styles, excellent food and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We really like this place because there is something for everyone - good drinks, fire pit, fresh food, and a kids play area.

Barely Days has a good selection of beer, munchies and a very nice patio for summer drinking. We recommend taking advantage of their bottle shop and buying some beer to enjoy at Water's Edge!

If you are in the mood for a drive, Church Key is situated in a lovely rural area. They have a small selection of beer, but offer growlers to go. Seating is limited.

Great craft beer with a nice selection of styles. If you like IPA's try the Notoriously Juicy - a new summer favorite. They have a nice outdoor seating area as well as an option to take beer out. No inside seating due to covid but worth a visit!

Family oriented restaurant with great views from inside or their lovely waterfront patio. They offer a wide selection of food -sandwiches, pasta, seafood, fish and steak - so you won't have a hard time pleasing everyone. The food is consistently good quality as is their service. My sister in law recommends the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie!

"Go Early" is the motto for Sandbanks. Its lovely sand dunes and beaches make this a very popular destination in the summer, so go early in peak season to avoid long lines and potentially not getting into the park - it is common for them to close off entry once they've reached the max in July and August. Try North Beach as a close alternative.

A 15 minute drive from Water's Edge, Walmart is one of the few places that offers grocery pick up. Just be sure to order well in advance. They are also one of the only places where you can buy clothing or quickly find forgotten vacation essentials, like sunglasses, hats or swimsuits.
