City Park provides the best Denver sunset, along with miles of running trails and a small lake. The park is also home to the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Jazz in the Park happens every Sunday night in the summer. There are two playgrounds and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a picnic.

This is a hike without the walking! ;) Just drive up Lariat Loop Road outside of Golden to get some amazing sweeping views of Colorado’s front range. Golden is also a cute town, so take a walk on Clear Creek Trail in downtown Golden.
