Sightseeing
You can see three states from the top of the bluff, local favorite and for those that are first time visitors. There is something about being at the top of the bluff looking over the river valley below.

Because the glaciers that missed the Driftless Area did not change its natural course, the Kickapoo River Valley is one of according to driftlessesswisconsin.com Kickapoo is on of the oldest river systems in the world. Rising some 350 feet above the river are the Ocooch Mountains, named for a small band of Indians called the Ocoche who once made these hills home. take a 2 hour 4 hour or day trip by canoe, down the river. bring your own or rent from one of the local liveries. One of my most favorite places. This community, which is called by different names, was home to a mixed-race group of settlers. The families ranged from free Black farmers, former slaves, white farmers, Native Americans, and those of mixed descent. One of my most favorite places, the back woods drive, rivers and valleys.
