Walmart is pretty self explanatory, but it's a quick drive for basic essentials and groceries. Boaz Walmart is preferred over Guntersville, for example, by locals because it's nicer and got more stuff.

Lake "G" as it's known in these parts, is known for bass fishing, but there are also Catfish, Crappie and Striped Bass. Lake G is a dammed up portion of the TN river and it's worth the drive to take a look.
