If you're looking for the local diner that serves awesome breakfast and lunch, this is your spot. My personal favorite is the Rumsey Burger but my son would tell you the sausage gravy and biscuits is the best. You'll love the atmosphere, it's everything a great small town diner should be.

You'll love the friendly service and great food but the star of this show is their outdoor seating. The Town Run stream runs directly through it and the large trees provide great shade.

If Guy Fieri ever visits Shepherdstown, this will be his first stop. Everything they serve is "outta bounds"!!!! The Pork Belly sandwich is life changing. If there's a long line (usually is), trust me, it's worth the wait.

Touring the battle field is a great way to take in the history but also makes for a beautiful scenic hike.
