Located about 5 minutes away from the house, BYU-Hawaii is an excellent location for Media-Lab access, Library needs, entertainment or when attending events. You can also find a snack-bar, game-room and post office.

At Kokololio beach or also known as Kekelas, you will find Aliigator Pond. Which is a perfect little spot for toddlers, babies and children. To get to Alligator Pond park your vehicle at the south end of Kokolio Beach park, walk across the field towards the shower and continue past it to the last beach path before the fence and houses. Once on the beach take a right and walk down to the point, it's maybe 300 yards down the beach.

At Kokololio beach or also known as Kekelas, you will find Aliigator Pond. Which is a perfect little spot for toddlers, babies and children. To get to Alligator Pond park your vehicle at the south end of Kokolio Beach park, walk across the field towards the shower and continue past it to the last beach path before the fence and houses. Once on the beach take a right and walk down to the point, it's maybe 300 yards down the beach.
Take a casual walk on a paved path through our World Class Botanical Gardens and Historical Sites 3/4 of a mile one way or 1 1/2 miles round trip from our Ticket Booth (where you pay Admission into the Valley) to our Waterfall area.

Best sunset views on the island!!
Go Jump off Waimea Rock! Located just south of Sunset Beach it is easy to get to. Go early if you want to park close. It is a popular place and the lot is small. Although you can always park in the Waimea Falls parking lot across from the Bay.
Similar to Sunset Beach, Waimea is a great place to relax and swim in the summer and waves get larger in the winter. Make sure to jump off Waimea Rock. There is also a large hole under the rock that you can swim all the way under the rock to the other side.
