Beaches
Goat Island Beach is located roughly 5km west of Ardmore in County Waterford. The inlet where the beach is located faces south and is sheltered to the west side by the island and it can be difficult to find.
When the tide is out, the sandy beach allows for some abseiling and rock climbing you can book with Ardmore Adventures, while it is also a great spot for sand castle making with the kids! As the tide comes in, there is another thing to do if you are brave enough - cliff jumping!
As you will discover when the tide comes in, it is a local favourite spot to climb the rocks and jump off or just to relax and fish.
