Weather you just want to stop in for a drink while you're at the beach for the day, or you want to bring the whole family for dinner, The Lobster Pound is walkable from the property and a go-to for locals in the area.

Sightseeing
Marginal way is a must visit if you're in the area and want to see some amazing coastal views. The path is paved, so friendly to all. There's spots to stop and surf or just sit down on a bench and take it all in. Be aware Dogs are not allowed during the summer months. There is public parking available, but it can get crowded quickly. There are also lots that charge a flat daily rate nearby as well. There are many restaurants along the way as well in the downtown area.

Nubbs Lobster Shack is also on premises and is a more informal setting, so for a younger family, that would likely be the best bet!
Nubble Lighthouse is one of, if not the, most famous landmark in the area. It's a must-see destination. Free public parking, although it can get crowded. Ice cream shops and a restaurant are right there for you to spend an afternoon taking in the views.

This beach is just a mere 1000ft down the road from the cottage and easily walkable or bikeable. Parking is for residents only so it's far less crowded than other local beaches with public parking. This is our regular beach when we're in staying at the cottage. Super convenient and charming.
