Public Transport Museum.
Located in the tram depot in Prague-Střešovice is a unique collection of artefacts from the history of urban mass transit in the capital city of the Czech Republic. The permanent „Public Transport Museum" exhibition was opened in 1993 by the Prague Public Transport Company, a.s. It contains over 40 historical vehicles and many other exhibits – models, photographs, historical documents, tickets and blueprints, all available for viewing by the public.
The museum is open only from the 25th March to the 17th November on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Battle of White Mountain, (Nov. 8, 1620), battle fought near Malovanka. The battle marked the first major victory of the Roman Catholic Habsburgs over the Protestant Union, a military alliance among the Protestant states of Germany, in the Thirty Years’ War (1618–48). The victory enabled the house of Habsburg to end constitutional rule in Bohemia and its neighbours and to establish an authoritarian government that survived for three centuries.
