A tiny but fascinating hat shop with hand-crafted caps and bags made usually on-location from vintage and salvaged fabrics. Truly unique and you can often catch Bentley, the sweetest Saint Bernard you'll ever meet!

Food Scene

Weekend street market (Friday and Saturday 7am to 7pm) great for produce (fruits and veggies). Not a farmer's market, but incredibly cheap. Lots of shouting and you'll likely get yelled at, but that's almost part of the experience.

This small general store looks like it came straight out of a history book. Great selection of whole-bean coffees that can be ground for you on the spot. Also huge selection of spices and olive oils, just go for the experience of going back in time!

Parks & Nature

Wonderful walk along the Charles river where you will find many locals picnicking, biking, running, or just taking a stroll. Community boating along here offers the opportunity to take a sailing lesson and a variety of other water sports. Paddle boats, paddle boards and gondola rides are also often available. I believe you can also rent kayaks to explore the city from the water.
