Vernal Pool Trail is a 3.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Murrieta, California that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. Best seen in spring when there has been some rain. Tiny tadpols, myriad cyclops and fairy shrimp can be seen in the pools. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.
