Super busy cafe best to call ahead and book. About a half hour walk from your accommodation up by the river and heading out of town their roast dinners and burgers are fab. In fact we love everything there !

Annan is about 20/30 minutes drive from Langholm and hosts a brand new climbing wall, a wonderful distillery and a range of local shops and cafes. The award winning cafe royal and a beautiful Italian, La Fortuna.
Annan has an amazing cinema with three screens and is well worth a visit.
Powfoot is on the solway coast and a great place to fly a kite three miles from Annan.

The gardens here are amazing and I’ve been several times to eat home made pizzas and pick my own flowers. It’s a perfect way to relax.
