Tourist Beach
Wasaga Beach is one of Ontario's best Provincial Parks. From sun tanning and shopping, to eating and drinking from the local hotspots, it's the perfect day trip for your stay with us!
The main beach, Beach Area One, is where all the tourists like to go. It's busy with music and lots of fun!
Wasaga Beach is the longest freshwater beach in the world.
It is also the first Provincial Park in Canada to be awarded the “Blue Flag” designation under the international environmental standards. Spanning almost 7 hectares, the beach protects wildlife habitat including the endangered species.
It's a 10-minute drive from the cottage, and there is lots of PAID parking available. You can also bike there in about 20 minutes. And, if you're up for a long walk, you can actually walk all the way from the beach in front of our cottage, to Beach Area One (this will take most people about an hour).

Yes, we all need something cold, perhaps freezing on that hot summer day! Look no further than our favourite local shop. The Baker's Bench is a recently renovated corner store with yummy ice cream and baked treats.
It's also joined up with a Cannabis Store and a Laundry Matt. Weird combo? We thought so too... but, they provide a great service for them all!
And, it's super close... like less than a 5-minute drive from the cottage.
