Neighborhoods
Portsmouth is located right in the middle of North Portland. It's a quiet neighborhood boasting the iconic 35-acre Columbia Park located just a few blocks southeast of the bungalow. We love the big trees and the swimming pool.
Portsmouth neighbors the University Park neighborhood to the south. Here you will find the beautiful University of Portland campus, with sweeping views of the Willamette River, downtown Portland and the Southwest Hills. We love watching the sunset there!
To the west is the St. John's neighborhood with the beautifully eerie St. John's bridge, tons of great restaurants and Cathredral park, where you can relax at the river.

Food scene
The Twilight Room has delicious burgers and a large selection of beers and ciders on tap, as well as alcoholic slushies! We love their outdoor patio on nice summer days. Families are welcome during earlier hours.

Sightseeing
Hang out at the beach on nice days. Fishing is allowed on the dock and there's a boat ramp nearby to launch from. The Willamette River is very kayak and SUP friendly as well.

We love this park and it's so close to the bungalow! The giant trees make me feel at home in the PNW and we often bring our dogs there to run around. They have a great playground with a small water splash park that's open in the summer. There's a swimming pool on the northeast corner of the park as well.

Columbia Park & Annex
