164 Main Street (about 15 Minute Walk)
Just a block or so from the water – a great farm‐to‐table restaurant “Preserve”. It’s unique – lots of unique dishes – many vegetarian. Always spot on and delicious. Owners are truly gracious and love serving their guests. It’s not to be missed.

This place opened up about a block from us maybe 12 years ago. Early on, we went and tasted the food. We were like “Wow – this place is going to be popular”. Twelve years later – it’s popular – really popular. They now take reservations via RESY, so you no longer have to wait 2 hours to get in! The menu appears simple – wood fired pizzas and new‐American cuisine. The execution is fantastic – it’s worth the wait. Wine list is fantastic.

A local joint ‐ and a huge sailor’s crowd. Food is great – straight forward Maryland fair but done well. Crabcake sandwich is best in Annapolis. Vibe is loud and energetic. Given all of that – it’s still kid friendly (our 9 and 10 year‐old love the place).

Modern Thai in a tiny, tiny space on West Street. Food is fantastic – has been for years. Try the fried string beans – they’re to die for. Or the soft shell crab.

We’re not in the habit of recommending “Chain” restaurants. But the view from this restaurant is – bar none – the best in Annapolis. It’s truly stunning. Food is good. Try the Kimchi Calamari – you’ll thank us….

In the basement under the shops and restaurants on Main Street. Nice menu – innovative wood fired pizza, great sides and salads, and yummy cocktails. Can be quite loud.

Brand New Micro Brewery right here in Eastport. Just opened this Spring (what timing!). The beer and the food are fantastic. Highly recommend.

Right out our back door. The rooftop deck is the reason to go (on nice afternoons or evenings) when the weather is nice. The food is quite good. Sitting on the rooftop for lunch or dinner – fabulous view of the sailboats of Annapolis. One thing to note – we’ve recently moved BH to the bottom of our list. The food is still excellent, and we still recommend, however their menu has become extremely pricey, and we’re sensitive to the fact that there are restaurants that are just as good at lower price points a few more minutes away (see Boatyard above).

Crabcake is exceedingly good. Don’t let the rough exterior (or interior for that matter) fool you.

NOTE – due to the pandemic, Bakers and Company is only open Friday‐Sunday, 8am – 2pm with outdoor seating (a few tables) only. For some reason, even though Maryland is open, they are continuing with their COVID protocol for the foreseeable future.
