Sightseeing
This is an off-leash, 20 acre dog park located near the Performing Arts Center behind the ISU campus. It's a great place to view the sunset or get a dog-fix if you're missing yours. Park up at the highest section for the best view and watch the moon come up, or catch the breeze in the summer months.

Just a really nice place to walk, bike ride, or go bird watching. Many trails lead off of the main City Creek Road. Two parking lots to choose from: the lower one on Grant Ave. and the upper one off of Lincoln Ave. Both will get you to the creek. Ask me for details!

For winter visitors, our Nordic Center is a great place for cross-country skiing or snow shoeing. Groomed trails for skiers, $5 parking fee. If you need skis, there are several rental options in town. The Nordic Center is a 15 minute drive south of town.
