Great little coffee shop located downtown Palmer. Everything we’ve ordered here has been fresh and tasty. From their soups, sandwiches, and breakfast burritos to baked goods and coffees I always look forward to stopping in.

Another great local brewery in the heart of downtown Palmer, Matanuska Brewery has an amazing selection of handcrafted offerings to please everyone in the group. Indoor and outdoor seating available, even on a cold winter day, just grab a spot in the heated igloos on the deck. The poke nachos and fish tacos are a personal favorite, and you can never go wrong with a burger. Just head towards the Palmer water tower and you can’t miss it.

Sightseeing
We had a great tour, approximately 2 hours long. Crampons and walking poles were available for use. Walked out on the ice, learned about the different types of ice that make up a glacier, even drank fresh cold water right from the source.

Just up the road from us is Alaska’s newest ski resort. Grab your skis or snowboard and take advantage of this diamond in the rough. There is no lodge yet, the rental shop just opened this month, 2/22. We do have a chair lift and reasonable ticket prices to ensure everyone has a great time. Make sure to pack a cooler with snacks and drinks.
