Make a reservation in advance of coming! By far the best restaurant in Columbia County (not just Hudson). The ambiance is incredible, the food is superb!!!!! And they have a florist set up in the middle of the restaurant so you can have your own custom bouquet made while enjoying a delicious meal.
Say hi to Jason, Joe, Anton and Taylor (the flower wrangler) and tell them Julia and Nick sent you :-)

*Alert* Local neighborhood brunch /lunch spot. So good! The Congee and their mushroom soft scramble are our go-to's but they have really interesting specials pop up that you should consider. Oh and YOU MUST GET A STICKY BUN!

Yes, the line is worth it. Yes, It's that good! Norman Jean Roy, the talent behind everything that is breadfolk nailed it, not just with the bread but the pastries are to die for. I have a really bad Canelè addiction and the Kouign-amann are also delish! Just try to be smart around what time you get there. I find around 10.30-11 after the first wave of people get there after opening and before the lunch crowd works best - but that timing can also be a miss.

One of Hudson's newest bars and officially the closest one to walk to from this apartment. Really pretty space and great drinks and snacks. Be sure to try the martini - it's very creatively served.

Rolling Grocer are great because they provide convenient, quality food for all -- no matter the income level -- with a priority placed on low-income residents. Food is made affordable through a fair pricing system, similar to sliding scale (see Fair Pricing System for more details). So definitely support them! Plus they have a great variety of stuff!

Check Rolling Grocer first, if they don't have what you need the check out olde hudson. I'm adding this as they do have a good range of high end grocery items but it's quite expensive and the service can be annoying at times. But if you're having a bit of a cook up and don't have a car then this is a decent optin.

I'm adding this as they do have a good range of high end grocery items but it's quite expensive and the service can be annoying at times. But if you're having a bit of a cook up and don't have a car then this is a decent optin.
Great selection of cured meats and cheeses and pre-prepared meals. They now also stock a small amount of groceries since moving to their new location on Allen Street and 2nd.

Kitty's down by the train station also stock some yummy produce, they also have a solid to go food menu and coffee etc. Their courtyard out the back is really lovely to sit in *weather permitting

If you brought your dog to Hudson with you there is a great off leash dog park down on second street. Turn right from Warren street and you'll see it on the left a few blocks down
