A must see on your bucket list! Only about an hour from the cottage and a beautiful drive. Spend half day or all day to see the sights!
This is a nice state park with an interesting logging museum. With views of Spring Creek, trails and kayak launch. Sits at the confluence of the creek and the Wilkinson river and is really pretty. A wildfire in 2020 devastated the forest so timber removal is underway and fire damage is very obvious.
