Day Trips
A few beautiful places worth visiting for a day.
Less than a half hour drive is the historic coastal town of Port Fairy. Bursting with delicious eateries, boutique shopping and picturesque attractions. The perfect day trip destination.
Pea Soup and East Beach are both lovely on a warm summers day.
A short walk out to the lighthouse is always worth it.
The historic fisherman’s wharf is as picture perfect as it looks.
The Oak & Anchor Hotel, Bank St Cafe, Coffin Sally Pizzeria and Poco Ice-cream are all local favourites with very good reason.
Penny & Reiby and Golden Store are both beautiful little shops. And if you feel like treating yourself to a piece of incredible jewellery to remember your trip you cannot go past Luone.

Tower Hill is an inactive volcano just 13km from our property.
It has many lovely walking trails, great views and lots of wildlife to spot.
If you are pushed for time you can just drive through without getting out of your car and still take in its natural beauty.
