Only a few short miles from the cabin is Big Bear's largest ski resort. During the summer you can purchase a lift ticket and take the lift to the top of the mountain for an incredible view and a nice hike or throw your mountain bike on and hit the trail down

A beautiful paved walk or bike ride along the lake and through the trees is never a bad idea. This paved trail runs from the boat marina on north shore for 2 1/2 miles and shouldn't be missed. Its one of my favorite things to do here and never gets old.
