Donnell Pond is a beautiful area with a swimming beach and usuallly eagles, ospreys and other wildlife. The short hike to get there is very scenic and if you are wanting a little more of a workout, Schoodic and Black Mountain trailheads are along the way. The views atop these mountains are breathtaking.

The short hike to get there is very scenic and if you are wanting a little more of a workout, Schoodic and Black Mountain trailheads are along the way. Sightseeing
MAke sure to get out at any of the turnouts, to walk on the ledges . There is a large parking lot at the point with vistas that are amazing. On a windy day the crashing surf is alway exciting.
