Larrabee State Park

This beach is only about 0.5 miles away from our home! Walk down to the water and enjoy the great view by the train tracks.
Please be aware that a short walk is required to get down to the beach. It can be steep at parts, so if you are hoping for something less strenuous I would suggest opting for Larrabee State Park instead.
Teddy Bear Cove

This scenic park is a bit further from our home (about a 15-20 minute drive), but a must-visit for those traveling to Bellingham for the first time! Check out the beautiful waterfall at the beginning of the trail, and continue on for a relaxing walk surrounded by nature!

Whatcom Falls Park
1401 Electric AveThis scenic park is a bit further from our home (about a 15-20 minute drive), but a must-visit for those traveling to Bellingham for the first time! Check out the beautiful waterfall at the beginning of the trail, and continue on for a relaxing walk surrounded by nature!

Go North on Chuckanut Drive for about 10 minutes you will find yourself entering Fairhaven. This is a great area to walk around, with lots of restaurants and local businesses to check out. One of the draws to Fairhaven is its historic elements. As you walk around, take a look at the brass plates in the sidewalks that tell bits and pieces of the history of Bellingham.

Lighthouse Bar and Grill at Hotel Bellwether has great food, and an amazing view! This waterfront restaurant is perfect for a night out, but it can get pretty busy. I would recommend making a reservation if you want to avoid a wait.
