Park along the Ijsselmeer in Monnickendam. (+\- 20 min drive) Many people walk their dogs here. They can be unleashed for most of the area. Nice views over the water. Parking free. There is also kind of a beach cafe called Strand 4, serving drinks and food, with a little beach to swim if you like.

Park closest to the house, where you are allowed to walk your dogs. They are not allowed to be unleashed on the big field where you arrive, and also not on the left (north) side of the park. It is obligated to clean up after your dog.

There are 2 supermarkets around the corner, both Albert Heijn. The one closest by (3 min walk) is on the Eerste Oosterparkstraat 100. The other one is a bit bigger, and on the Wibautstraat 80.
