Beaver lake on Mont Royal is amazing all year 'round! Ice skate in winter, bring a picnic in summer. Take a stroll in the trails or even a long walk right into the heart of downtown Montreal. Checkout the lookout on a clear day you can see at least two bridges and the St-Lawrence seaway.

It is an ideal site for admiring a wide variety of plants and birds or for enjoying outdoor activities. There is a new permanent exhibition at the Maison Smith but I've never been.
