The Mocha Moon is really sweet and delicious if you're into sweet coffee drinks! They make their own nut milks and have a great selection of coffee. But also, it's just generally a cool place to grab a cup of coffee and go or stay a while and hang out for a bit.

Close to our listing and an iconic Austin fanchise, Kerby Lane is open 24/7 and has everything you could ever want but they're known for awesome pancakes and some of the best queso in town. If you go during high-traffic meal times, though, be prepared for a wait. But totally worth it if you can hit an in-between meal time.

Check out Lady Bird Lake for Stand up Paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, water biking and generally great water sports right in the middle of downtown Austin. You can also check out some of the bat river cruises that leave from here and see the iconic Austin bats take flight from the Congress Ave. bridge.

Mount Bonnell is the highest place in Austin and has excellent views of the city, especially at sunrise or sunset. There's a lot of steps to get to the top, though, so be sure to wear some walking shoes!
