An old town with a military history. Close to the sea, with good possibilities to swim in the ocean. Several restaurants, ice bars, bars and coffee shops. This town is also in connected to the costal trail marked blue that runs for more than 40 km along the sea from the town of Helgeroa to Larvik.

A very nice amusement park suited for children between 1-12. The park focuses around a farm theme and holds a lot of different farm animals. Its also shows in the summer time, and lots of different activities to do.

Next to the house you will find big areas with trails in forest landscape. There are some places where you can go to that will give you some hight and great views over a large distance.

This is the biggest town within 25 km of our home. There are shopping areas in the city center (search «Torget Larvik»), as well as a shopping center close by the city center (search «Alti Nordbyen»). If you need areas with larger stores, you will find this close to the river «Lågen», by the port to Denmark (Search for the road called «Elveveien») The closest grocery stores will be three stores in the same area called «Kiwi», «Rema 1000» and «Meny». They are all located in the outskirts of Larvik in the west (search «Rema 1000 Ulfsbakveien»). Ask us if you need anything else!

A car is the easiest way to get around.
There is a bus line between Larvik and Helgeroa that run’s once an hour. It’s also possible to commute by bike, however the distances to the closest sights will be over 6 km, and most of the road will be shared with cars. The recommended way to get around is by car.
