One of the reasons why Petersham is known as 'Little Portugal' - grab a Portuguese chicken loaded with flavourful chilli marinade (you can get it without), some chips and lick those fingers. We were annoyed when this gelateria literally won the best gelato in the world (Mandorla Affogato) - because then lots of people found it. We knew that it was amazing before then. Still, we forgive them, because the gelato is amazing. Stop by to try the flavours on your way up the hopping enmore/newtown restaurant / bar district - or get a takeaway tub to indulge on. Trust us, you won't regret it!

Take a short walk to Waratah Mills Light Rail stop and get off at Jubilee Park to walk across the road to the Tramsheds. Finish off the day with a stroll along the Glebe foreshore.
