We love this local-foods restaurant for just about any meal, but especially brunch. Try their huevos rancheros and their burrata. There's also a little market next door with high-end wine and cheeses.

This is a great place for a nice dinner - Jonathan Sawyer is a local celebrity chef. Not great if you're veg - this is a heavy meat menu, but delicious, and a great bar and atmosphere.

Momocho is delicious"mod mexican," and has a great bar scene as well as a nice patio. Great place to get some chips and guacamole with a margarita!

Great food with a heavy emphasis on farm-to-table and using seasonal ingredients - they do a lot of catering for cool events around the city as well. Worth it to go for dinner!

Really good, inventive food in a cute and homey space (it's a renovated single-family home). They do a lot of interesting things with their meat especially, but they have vegetarian offerings too.

Good, reliable thai food just around the corner. The ambiance in the restaurant isn't stellar, but it's a great place to pick up to-go food, and the green curry is delicious!

Another reliable neighborhood spot which is an area staple. We always get the chicken fried rice, which is very good. This place is a good option for take-out as well.
