They call it “the Niagara of Pennsylvania.” This series of eight waterfalls, nestled deep in the wooded Pocono Mountains, is accessible via hiking trails and bridges which offer fabulous views. You can also mine for gemstones, hang out at the playground, or try out the Mining Company Maze — a fun, competitive challenge that involves more than simply finding the exit.
Is not the cheapest outing but quite a beautiful place to spend the day. The paths are well marked and maintained. Hiking trails varieties range from a short jaunt to hours long walks. Autumn foliage season is spectacular here.

Non-strenuous hike for elderly and very young, which we brought. Free to get into but there is a toll to cross certain bridges into the area, depending on your direction in.

100 outlet stores. Not bad for a quick stop and get some clothing shopping done but don't expect the upscale brands like what Woodbury Commons has.

Not close to the house but worth the trip if your palate is feeling adventurous. It is expensive but keep in mind this is not your everyday beef/pork/chicken. And the meats are top notch in flavor and quality.

About a 40 minute trip from us. Fun place for the younger ones. Easton itself has a great food scene with a bunch of restaurants to choose from.

The adult track is a super eight over 1400 feet long, with a tunnel running under a full-size track bridge. The kiddie track? Well, it’s a little less crazy. Also: They have mini golf and target paintball!
