Good thing you'll only be 2 blocks away!

Thai Villa is kind of a well kept secret in Guelph. It has an unsuspecting look being situated in the corner of a strip plaza. But, if you love thai food this is the place to go. They offer a reasonably priced lunch buffet, and reservations are often not required.

Ah-mazing food! We have never been disappointed going to Atmosphere. It's a little more pricey than other restaurants, but it's been well worth it. If you're looking for a food experience this is it. It's a short drive to Atmosphere in downtown Guelph, with free parking outside the restaurant. Or, a 25 minute walk. It's directly across from City Hall, looking onto a splash pad/ice rink which, which is in itself an iconic destination for Guelph. This is also a great spot for some late night drinks.

Earth to Table: Bread Bar has more than bread. But, their pizzas are pretty amazing. If you love garlic we recommend the Vampire Pizza. Not into pizza? There's lots to choose from here. Open for lunch and dinner, this is another favourite of ours.

Planet Bean is a hot spot of activity. It's a great spot for casual meetings. Planet Bean is also a Guelph-started organization with coffee that is now enjoyed throughout Ontario. There are a few locations to choose from. This is our favorite, and closest to you.

Be prepared for a wait. This is REALLY good espresso based coffee, but it's also slow. Good things come to those who wait. Have kids? There's an open space area with old toys like a rotary phone, fisher price farm animals, and toy cars. It may even prove to be a trip down memory lane for yourself.

It includes a splash pad, tennis courts, dog park, baseball diamonds, skating rink, and small forested hiking trail. Throughout the summer there are often events happening at this park, including The Creativity Picnic, The Food Truck Show, Pride Guelph, and more.
