A lovely bar once frequented by Jack Kerouac and many other famous writers and artists. Now it's mostly frequented by the folk who live in North Beach and tourists, but it's still a lovely place.

If you think taxidermy is gross, you might have your opinions changed by this adorable boutique and shop. Somehow they manage to make the creepiest things (like shrew mandibles) seem utterly adorable.
